Overall purpose of the role


The Business Change Lead has the primary tasks of managing the change process within the department. This will involve taking the responsibility for significant projects that are key to the future success of the firm.

The more detailed projects are anticipated to be the establishment of a captive shared service centre in CEE, assisting the payroll team to improve both processes and culture and managing our relationships, from a process perspective and to drive improvements in margins with our global partner firms.

Main responsibilities


The role requires significant interaction with a majority within the department and key individuals in the remainder of the firm. The role is one where leadership, both through interaction with others and through direct action, is important.

A good Business Change Lead will be manage budgets for projects from both a time and cost perspective. They will work with other stakeholders to ensure that any delays are highlighted in advance and managed so as to cause minimum disruption. The role is one that requires detailed hands on involvement in the projects as well and managing and overseeing progress.

All work that the Business Change Lead completes should be with reference to the Blick Rothenberg values and commitments to client service.

An excellent Business Change Lead will complete projects on time or ahead of schedule whilst balancing competing requests for their time and will identify improvements to systems and processes throughout their day to day work. These will be translated into small and large scale improvements, the latter as part of formal project plans, driven by the Business Change Lead directly and by other staff following the leadership and guidance of the Business Change Lead.

An outstanding Business Change Lead should be seen to be building strong relationships with the captive shared service centre and with other third parties with whom we work and will drive lasting change that will justify the transition of the role from a fixed tem basis to a full time position.
