The office support team have the primary task of supporting the Partners and Managers within the department to provide the best possible service to clients. This requires strong attention to detail, a pro-active attitude, an ability to organise a workload without relying on others for guidance and direction.

Role: Personal Assistant

Reports to: Head of department

Department: Global Business Services

Location: 16 Great Queen Street, Covent Garden, London

This role is specifically supporting the Head of the department to ensure top quality and efficient service delivery to clients.

The more detailed services completed by the PA will vary day-to-day but will include co-ordination of internal and external meetings, assistance with administrative reporting and projects, data entry into CRM systems, organising overseas travel, preparation of partner expenses and internal reports, set up of new clients including client liaison and document collation, being aware of departmental deadlines and playing a key role in the senior management team hitting those deadlines, as well as other such general administrative functions.

The role requires an ability to build rapport with the Head of the department and with the wider team. This will include coordinating and assisting with departmental administration and reporting. The individual should be a team player, prepared to assist others and think about the wider interests of the team/firm.

There is direct interaction with clients and as such the PA should be professional in their approach, personable and take appropriate responsibility and action points from such client interactions. The role requires high standards of both written and verbal communication.

About

This role is at a PA level within an established outsourcing practice (Global Services) that has been a successful and significant part of the wider Blick Rothenberg business for over thirty years. The department services a portfolio of overseas owned clients ranging from subsidiaries of listed groups, VC and PE backed entities and large family owned businesses (such as German Mittelstand companies). Assistance is provided with bookkeeping, management reporting, VAT compliance, accounts payable and receivable management including administering payments, payroll compliance and other such matters that would otherwise be completed by an in-house accounting team.
